Your Path with Women Assist

Support that meets you where you are, and grows with you

You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

At Women Assist, we offer a gentle, supportive pathway for women and young people navigating trauma, family violence, ADHD, and overwhelm.

  • This is not about fitting into a system.
  • This is about finding support that fits you.

Start Where You Are

Step 1: Reach Out

Referral & Intake

Every journey begins with a conversation.

We take the time to understand what’s happening for you—your experiences, your needs, and what kind of support feels right.

There’s no pressure, no expectation. Just a safe place to begin.

Feel Supported

Step 2: Individual Counselling

Stabilisation, safety, and support

This is where many people begin.

Counselling offers a space to:

  • Feel heard and understood
  • Make sense of your experiences
  • Build emotional safety
  • Learn ways to manage overwhelm and stress

We work at your pace, always.

Grow & Reconnect

Step 3: EmpowerHer ADHD Program

Understanding yourself and building confidence

For women and young people with ADHD, or those ready for deeper support, the EmpowerHer ADHD Program offers a structured pathway forward.

This program helps you to:

  • Understand how your mind works
  • Make sense of emotional patterns and trauma responses
  • Build confidence, identity, and self-trust
  • Learn practical tools that support your everyday life

This is where insight becomes transformation.

Sustain Your Progress

Step 4: Ongoing Support & Integration

Support that continues with you

Healing doesn’t happen all at once; it unfolds over time.

We offer ongoing support to help you:

  • Stay connected to your growth
  • Navigate life transitions
  • Strengthen your sense of self
  • Return to support whenever you need

You can move in and out of support in a way that works for you.

A Wider Circle of Support

At Women Assist, we also support the systems around you.

Through clinical supervision and organisational partnerships, we help ensure that the people and services supporting you are also supported.

This creates safer, more understanding environments for your healing.

There Is No “Right Way” to Do This

Your journey is your own.

You might:

  • Start with counselling and stay there
  • Move into a program when you’re ready
  • Come back to support at different times in your life

Whatever your path looks like, we walk alongside you.

Take the First Step

You don’t have to do this alone

If you’re ready to begin, or simply want to explore whether counselling feels right for you, we invite you to reach out.
