Clinical Supervision

A reflective, supportive space for those who hold others

At Women Assist, we understand the emotional weight of working in caring and frontline roles. Supporting others through trauma, crisis, and complexity requires not only skill but ongoing reflection, support, and care for yourself as the practitioner.

Clinical supervision offers a dedicated space to pause, reflect, and be supported in your work.

You don’t have to carry it alone.

Who This Is For

Clinical supervision is available for:

  • Counsellors and psychotherapists
  • Family violence practitioners
  • Social workers and case managers
  • Carer coaches and support workers
  • Frontline staff working in crisis or trauma settings
  • Students and early-career practitioners

Whether you are experienced in the field or just starting, supervision provides a space to deepen your practice and sustain your wellbeing.

Our Approach

At Women Assist, supervision is more than case discussion; it is a reflective, relational process that supports both your professional development and personal wellbeing.

We understand the impact of vicarious trauma, burnout, and compassion fatigue. Supervision supports you to stay grounded and resourced in your work.

Reflective & Collaborative

We create space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and responses without judgment—supporting insight and growth.

Strengths-Based

We recognise your existing skills and build confidence in your clinical decision-making.

We honour diverse lived experiences and support culturally responsive practice.
