In 2016, I established Women Assist, a counselling service that has grown alongside my professional development. Drawing on my extensive experience in crisis intervention, private practice counselling, and various managerial and leadership roles in the helping sector, I am excited to begin working as a clinical supervisor. My goal is to provide guidance and support to professionals in the field, ensuring the implementation of best practices, ethical conduct, and the prevention of burnout when working with vulnerable individuals.
I specialise in providing counselling services tailored to women recovering from trauma and also extend support to individuals on their healing journey. My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based methodologies with compassion and intuition to facilitate clients’ unique healing processes. The objective is to empower clients to overcome the effects of trauma and establish a nonjudgmental space for exploration, healing, and personal development. My extensive experience in trauma-focused therapies underscores my unwavering belief in everyone’s resilience and healing capacity.
In my capacity as a clinical counsellor and clinical supervisor, I hold registration at the clinical level with PACFA. My primary commitment revolves around extending unwavering support to counsellors and mental health professionals, ensuring their informed practice and adherence to the best standards. A source of considerable gratification arises from the inclusive sharing of knowledge with individuals eager for learning and dedicated to professional growth, all while safeguarding their overall well-being.
Furthermore, as a certified Wayapa Wuurrk Practitioner, I promote this insightful way of life by emphasizing the significance of movement sequences and their profound connection to the earth. Endeavouring to impart the best practices of Wayapa Wuurrk in wellness workshops further underscores my commitment to promoting holistic well-being through practice.
