Cassandra supports clients under this scheme frequently. The counselling sessions are 60 minutes long, and she works with clients face-to-face or via Telehealth. Cassandra is committed to providing person-centred, outcomes-focused counselling to people with disabilities. She works with participants to strengthen their capacity, achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Under the NDIS, counselling services are included under the categories:

– Improved daily living skills
– Improved relationships

Cassandra facilitates self-knowledge, emotional acceptance, growth and the optimal development of personal resources on a one-to-one basis. She also assists participants in working towards their personal goals and gaining greater insight into their lives.

Participants in the NDIS have the right to choose their support providers. They may wish to choose a counsellor or psychotherapist to provide their supports where they require professional support such as therapeutic support.

Women Assist Trauma Counselling has the capacity for NDIS clients. So, if you are a participant in the NDIS and need therapeutic counselling, please email us at info@womenassist.com.au to arrange an appointment.
