Violence comes in many forms. We help women who have experienced domestic or family violence. We help them manage and recover from the acts of violence they endured. Helping them to feel safe again.
Confidentiality is an important aspect of counselling. This means that under normal circumstances no one outside of us is given any information – even the fact that you have been here – without your expressed written consent. The primary goal is to provide you with a safe environment in which you feel comfortable to discuss your concerns.
We support women to reduce the impact of the ongoing effects of violence and support them to move forward in their lives by providing short to long term individual counselling and psychotherapy.
Our counsellors also conduct risk assessments, assist with safety planning and provide referrals to crisis family violence services as required.
